Trends 2008 - Attire Bridal, February 2008

"Maternity bridal collections for 2008 will focus on providing an elegant look for the pregnant bride, with a glamorous, yet sophisticated, edge.  Chiffons and delicate beading will focus in collections, with a focus on detail.  We will also see a shift to very elegant, structured styles using satins and taffeta to create a unique, flattering silhouette. 

There is a clear trend towards glamourous, exciting necklines.  Our signature corset style back will remain popular with maternity brides and additional detailing on the back of the gown will feature highly in collections.  Strapless gowns will remain popular with brides but will be coupled with gorgeous little jackets in satin and lace.  Ivory will be popular for maternity bridal gowns, but we will also see the introduction of softer colour palettes such as gentle pinks, soft golds, and soft blues."
