The Designer
The Madeline Isaac-James collection is designed by Natalie Gladman, who named the label after her three children. Natalie is the fifth generation of her family in the garment industry, her great-great grandfather (who was a Master Tailor and who went on to own and run a very successful garment business in Glasgow) being the first of many generations to work with (and love) garment design and manufacture, with every generation since following in his footsteps in one form or another.
Natalie's love of all things bridal started as a very young child, and her very first designs were being sketched from the tender age of five (although they never made it to final production)! Her design capability is entirely self-taught with a natural ability to envision beautiful and elegant gowns, whilst interpreting key bridal trends. She initially took selected commissions for bridal gowns in 2001, and Madeline Isaac-James was formed soon after.
Natalie designs exquisite, beautiful, unique and elegant gowns, with an emphasis on excellent style and cut using high quality materials such as lace, silk chiffons, taffeta, organza, satin, charmeuse silk and swarovski crystals. Natalie has a genuine love of all things bridal, and this combined with her passion and desire to design truly wonderful gowns, ensures that the gowns in her collections remain highly desirable pieces to be admired, loved and cherished by brides throughout the world.
